Hello, my name is Brian Pernell, and I am a Graduate student at Tiffin University. I’m currently pursuing my MBA in and Strategic and Digital Marketing.I am a former member of the Executive Board of the Sports Management Club. I am also a former Track athlete and a dean's list student with a cumulative GPA of 3.63. I have Hubspot certifications in Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Social Media, and Digital Advertising.In my current role with UFC, I’ve developed and posted social media content that has generated over 4 million views. I actively track performance metrics using Emplify to optimize content strategy. From real-time coverage to sponsored content, I manage multiple social platforms, including Meta Business Suite, Threads, Instagram, and Twitter, ensuring a cohesive voice across channels. In addition to managing posts and analytics, I produced short-form videos tailored to each platform, creating content that highlights the energy and intensity of UFC events. Recording live content during fights and capturing pre-match moments with athletes has enhanced my skills in visual storytelling, ensuring each piece resonates with fans and adds to their overall experience.While working with the Brooklyn Nets and alongside the New York Liberty, I collaborated with team members to develop fan engagement strategies, uniting the New York Liberty fan base and enhancing their game-day experience. At Tiffin University, my internship with the Sports Media team refined my live event coverage and visual storytelling skills. In this role I developed graphics, produced event recaps, and coordinated live digital coverage for football, basketball, soccer, and volleyball games, tailoring content for Twitter to capture fans’ attention in real-time.
