• Lead designer for Elo's Interactive Digital Signage product line including 32”, 42”, 46”, 55”, and 70” diagonal sizes. Product achieved record sales and revenue growth for Elo in this category. Design process included: creation of industrial design concepts and renderings for sales and management presentations, prototype construction, detailed mechanical design of injection molded plastic and sheet-metal structures, and management of design transfer to contract manufacturers. • Designed 10”, 15”, and 22” Android OS-based touch screen computers for Point of Sale (POS) and Point of Information (POI). Design process included: integration of various projected capacitive touch screens, LCD displays, speakers, webcam, microphone, cellular modems, Power over Ethernet (P.O.E), Wi-Fi antennas, stands, mounting brackets, and USB based accessories • Coordinated mechanical design of a group of ~18 different sized touchscreen systems with contract manufacturer. Process involved: communicating and verifying design constraints with contract manufacturing team members, troubleshooting design issues prior to manufacturing release, and providing guidance on quality verification during mass production. • Solved challenging thermal and mechanical related issues during testing and debugging stage of multiple LCD and computer-related products.• Created user manuals and quick install guides, as well as customer-facing documents and illustrations.
