What is the relationship between medicine & healing? How do we bridge the gap and create rich dialogue between a science-based approach to healthcare and our need for psychological & spiritual transformation? What makes human beings truly healthy, and what does this require of patients and their healthcare team?-------------------------------------------------------------These questions ignite my work to create a less divided healthcare system and to foster more open-hearted dialogue around human needs and how best to serve them. We are undergoing a widespread shift in the paradigms of medicine, and the emerging approach is favoring a model of whole-person care that meets patients’ physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and subtle energetic needs. This model demands cross-cultural synthesis, critical evaluation, and modern scientific study, as well as large-scale education and implementation. Americans need an optimized system for diagnosing, treating, and understanding disease, and a more comprehensive humanistic framework for growth & healing. The ideal is accessible, evidence-based, whole-person care that promotes long-term health and vitality for patients with varying types and degrees of disease. With my rigorous scientific background and deep appreciation for the healing arts, I serve as a bridge between physicians, patients, allied health professionals, and the general public. I work toward bringing further credibility and accessibility to whole-person healthcare approaches.A graduate of the National University of Natural Medicine, I am a licensed naturopathic doctor by the states of California and Montana.I completed an CNME-accredited naturopathic medical residency at Revolutions Naturopathic, a multi-practitioner, multi-site naturopathic medical clinic in the greater metropolitan area of Sacramento, California. I am currently practicing at Amen Clinic in Orange County, CA, focusing on brain health and complex immune conditions.
