• Expanded the Baseball Systems department from one developer to a team of 8 direct reports.• Responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of our proprietary software applications that are utilized by all members of our Baseball Operations staff with support from the Baseball Operations Executive team.• Led the redevelopment of our core custom decision-making software product from a desktop-based software solution written in .Net to a Ruby on Rails web application.• Created and rolled out a collaborative and Agile development process which resulted in a significant decrease in development time for most large development requests and also significantly increased information sharing among team members to minimize duplicated code.• Mentored and developed Baseball Systems developers and data engineers to decrease the time from project request to deployed feature to be used by our target customers.• Present monthly to the executive team to communicate the current state of the development projects, upcoming priorities and to create both short term goals and long-term roadmaps to enable and support decisions affecting the future of the baseball team.• Propose and negotiate third party software vendor relationships to integrate into our existing systems. • Ensure a high level of availability, stability and performance of the infrastructure required for our suite of custom products.• Replaced four custom desktop-based software products with web-based solutions in less than a year with zero downtime and integrated them into our core product.

Designed and created various software applications for the Baseball Operations staff of the Tampa Bay Rays. Responsible for the architecture of our internal applications and infrastructure that house all of our proprietary information used to make day to day baseball decisions.

Developed an ASP.Net inventory tracking, help desk and reporting website utilized by several Department of Defense customers.

Created microisv.com in response to the growing trend of one or two developer software companies.

Created several ASP.Net based websites for internal customers. Developed a SQL Reporting based solution for the company's financial group to monitor daily financial progress. Wrote applications for the data management group to be able to cleanse and merge over 1 million product descriptions.

Automated the deployment of applications and the Windows operating system for the roll-out of new desktops.
