-Attend client meetings and act as main contact for all overhead transmission work.-Serve as main construction liaison and coordinator with landowners, railroads, government entities, outside construction groups and other private entities to ensure optimized work flow.-Develop and foster a teamwork attitude while working as a joint venture with two other large construction outfits. -Generate graphic schedules to effectively plan and illustrate resource allocations. -Coordinate major lane/road closures, railroad flagging and police presence required to support operations in highly congested areas. -Facilitate creation of MPT plans for subsequent permit applications. -Create various work plans for submission to railroads, client and other necessary stakeholders.-Track and monitor costs & labor to ensure proper resource allocation.-Identify changes in scope and assist in quantification for submission to the client.-Procure specialized subcontractors for tower demolition, fiber splicing and helicopter work-Create critical lift plans and order appropriately sized cranes to perform work safely and efficiently-Order and plan specialty tooling required for tower erection and wire installation.-Manage helicopter operations, identify LZs and obtain necessary permissions to utilize 500 style craft for wire installations. -Train field personnel to develop necessary skill sets for success in a challenging and fast paced industry.
