The mission of the Florida Coalition to End Homelessness is to work collaboratively to prevent and end homelessness in Florida through advocacy and education.

Provided company direction to steer business partnerships, funding, revenue driving programs, and community integration projects to transition faltering NPO into a thriving organization, effectively restoring Mission Possible’s reputation within the local area as a trusted and well-respected non-profit organization helping those experiencing homelessness and poverty transition into employment opportunities.Key Responsibilities & Contributions:•Social Entrepreneurship: Spearheaded strategic planning process to develop social enterprises through partnerships with local municipality and businesses, taking program goals from initial plan to full execution and implementation by utilizing existing strengths of Mission Possible.•Reputational Renewal: Developed personal relationships with influential community leaders and government officials, altering the overall public reception of Mission Possible to position non-profit as a community-focused charitable organization.•Staff Motivation & Incentives: Established and nurtured a group of long-term staff through personal coaching and mentoring to ensure the vertical growth and progression of key staff members into positions of increasing responsibility and influence, balancing directive and participatory styles of management.•Budget Control: Managed and distributed budget made up of revenue and fundraising capital, working with the Finance Chair, Staff Accountant, and key staff members to generate a budget for Board of Director approval.•Business Strategies: Continually developed new ways to reach potential customers, donors, and participants, coordinating a cohesive marketing, communications, and service offering that is further capitalized on through fundraising events that are impactful and thoroughly woven into the local community.

•Core Functions: Implemented first ever corporate compliance initiatives upon receiving Corporate Compliance Officer training from the National Association of Community Health Centers, as organization’s budget increased from $3M to $7M and staffing from 26 to 60 employees.•Compliance Initiatives: Designed and developed regulations and best practices for human resources, financial systems management, case management, risk management, health centre billing, clinical practice, HIPPA controls, and numerous other operational procedures to align with federal regulations and auditory controls.•Compliance Maintenance: Worked with a variety of internal departments to and assess their work and processes to ensure they adhere to corporate compliance expected of a Federally Qualified Health Care Center.•Annual Auditory Planning: Developed annual plans to audit processes, departments, and operational functions for corporate compliance, creating auditory work plans and formal documentation to properly track specific procedures.•Spiritual Care: Successfully assisted this organization in shifting its orientation as a historic faith-based non-profit into a spiritually centered interfaith community. Restored historic relationships between the organization and its faith-based partners.

Provided senior leadership to Trinity Church, a congregation with a compassionate presence in the heart of the Kansas City’s most culturally and ethnically diverse neighborhood. Guided a renewal process that resulted in a small historic congregation emerging as a vital and relevant faith community. Helped the congregation leverage their unique capacities, assets, and gifts into effective neighborhood ministries. Negotiated the acquisition of property and guided renovations to existing facilities.
