DB2 LUW, Oracle, & SQL Server. Systems Enterprise Database Admistrator

Member of 5 person work group supporting over 20 Enterprise level applications, performing 24x7 on-call support as well as day to day routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Application administer duties mirror those of SAP BASIS team. Such as: Perform Install, Upgrade, Patching, software migration, project support and provide production support to maintain performance and availability. Also, act as the central Coordinator between IT services & /or Business units. Performing as Primary application administrator on the following systems:• Software AG - Web Methods Enterprise Service Bus • UMS – Spend Optimization Suite • Sage – Saleslogix • Gemworx - Flow modeler Perform as Secondary (backup) application administration for these key systems• Itron - IEE Meter Data Management System (MDMS) (backup)• Intergraph – GIS system (backup) supportMaintain knowledge and support of several other systems including: Demand Response Management System, EMC Documentum, Remittance Processing System, Revenue Protection Detection System, Situational Awareness Visual Intelligence, & a Cold fusion web application

DBA Team member supporting Informix, Sybase, and Db2 LUW. Including 2 installations of SAP on db2

General SAP Netweaver basis administration with emphasis on DBA activities for DB2 LUW Version 9 including:- Basis lead performing upgrade of 6.20 BBP CRM 4.0 e-buyer to Netweaver 7.0 SRM - Performed multiple QA refreshes (redirected restore) & post processing on federated Netweaver system landscape- Preformed routine day-to-day monitoring and maintenance tasks, as well as SPAM, JSPAM, SAINT, and Kernel Updates on both ABAP and Portal Java Only Stacks.- Worked with developers on performance tuning SQL, and interface processes- Supported as lead DBA full lifecycle implementation of all current systems, with the exception of one legacy 46B system which also later supported upgrade to ECC5- Performed Upgrades to DB2 UDB V7 to Version 8 and subsequently to LUW 9.1 on all landscapes as well as applying several intermediary fixpaks

- Developed and implemented numerous Unix Shell scripts to assist in maintenance and monitoring of the databases, SAP, and interfaces- Defined and implemented SAP database backup and recovery strategy utilizing TSM and Netbackup- Performed several large table moves to custom tablespaces from the PSAPBTABD tablespace due to maximum tablespace size limitation - Documented and successfully ran off-site annual Disaster Recovery of SAP R/3 production system- Team member in the upgrade of 3.1h SAP R/3 landscapes to 46B- Temporarily reassigned in 2004 to install, consolidate and implement several corporate Rightfax solutions including integration with SAP, Lotus Notes, IVR phone system, and several custom applications

- Completed Y2K 'Due Diligence' multi-date testing and documenting of SQL 6.5 with service pack 5a- Performed several database application installations and upgrades - Monitored and tuned database, instance, queries, reports, and stored procedures.- Developed & implemented corporate SQL server backup/archive strategy utilizing RAID 5 and ADSM.

- Developed and maintained backup and reorg JCL of IBM mainframe VSAM files - Monitored and tuned VSAM files for to avoid splits and minimize extents- Developed reports for DASD capacity planning, and Db2 VSAM extents using db2 connect and db2pm output with MS Access and Excel

- Received, analyzed, and verified data for corporate performance report- Developed Bid Volume, Turnaround Time, and Hospital PMPM reports for underwriting department
