I love video games and always dreamed of creating games for the next generation of players. Although new to this field, my past work experience in IT, Customer Service, and Management has helped me gain knowledge and skills that are transferrable such as problem-solving, working under pressure, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. These skills have assisted me in programming tools while working in IT such as a Network Communication Status Tool allowing staff to ascertain if switches were online/offline without having to physically be in the room, thus saving the company time and money. My ability to be a team player was essential during the creation of 'Reeltime' in Brackey's Game Jam (2020) with 3 other people, and 'Spin Cycle', with a team of 20+ including artists, programmers, voice actors, and writers. I am a hard worker which allowed me to excel in school and maintain a 4.2 GPA.
