As Global Research Director at Oliver Wyman, I am driven to use information and knowledge to advance business and organizational goals. I have a demonstrated ability to build teams and their functional capacity to provide relevant information and actionable insights towards successful business outcomes. I maintain a keen interest in the growing automation of knowledge work and seek opportunities to leverage it to drive efficiency and enhance capacity. I received an MLS in 1994 from Rutgers University. My first professional role was as Business Researcher at Honeywell, Inc. In that role I was responsible for competitor intelligence and market research, seeking opportunities to commercialize Honeywell’s new product development. Since many of Honeywell’s products had aircraft industry application, I quickly developed a subject specialism in aviation and aerospace industries which led me to take a role at Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) as Aerospace & Defense Analyst. While at BAH I assumed management responsibility for the New York research team, initially as team lead, ultimately with full management responsibility for a team of 12. I left BAH in 2007 to manage the New York Research Team at Oliver Wyman, Inc. Over the past 10 years I transitioned to positions of increased responsibility first as Global Research Manager within the Financial Services Practice Group and finally, in 2013, as Global Research Director. I currently lead a team of 90 information professionals located in 11 cities around the world.
