    As a Senior Buyer, my primary role was on Capital purchases, while assisting with MRO as well. Focusing on cost savings and budget control throughout all plant purchases, projects and processes, results were essential . By building on existing relationships, and creating new partnerships with vendors, that allowed for a more thorough bidding process. I worked with different departments to create SOW's and plans, and then submitted RFQ's. In doing so, SRUSA was able to manage the costs associated with each project. Savings were tracked as PO's were issued through SAP. I worked with our Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries, as well as address any issues that arose throughout the process. With a target of 2.5% Savings each month, I successfully beat that number since starting my role in August. The amount each month varied on Capital purchases, but there were multiple months of $50-$250K+in savings for CAPEX. I strived to offer significant results for the organization, while not delaying the procurement for our plant personnel.
