Working at WUKmedia was such a fantastic place to work. Family values are a big part of the company which makes you feel like you are a big part of the company. WUKmedia is company who is not afraid to take risks. They are brave, bold yet compassionate to their customers. I was hired as a Web Developer & Designer. My main role was to design and build customers websites adhoc. This meant project managing every stage from concept to completion. Dealing with the customers on a daily basis was a regular occurrence which involved plenty of problem solving.WUKmedia allowed me to bring a new idea into the business through the form of App Development. They backed and supported my ideas fully and provided the infrastructure to push it out nationally. Then when they were unable to make anything of the project, they fired back the blame on me for even suggesting and bringing such an idea to the table. Sad but true.

Becoming a Theme Designer and front end web developer at EKM is utilising my creative skills in producing high quality and professional e-Commerce themes for their platform. My role is to research industry leading companies and design hi-spec themes that follow all the regulatory standards of its respective industry. I then take the theme proofs I have designed and code them up using the latest web standards in html5, CSS and Javascript.I then implement our own custom tag system into the theme which will allow them to become dynamic within the EKM system and allow customers to tailor the theme to their exacting requirements.

Becoming the Graphic Designer for 'The OBAS Group' has provided me with a wealth of opportunities that have massively developed my skills through both projects managed and mentoring from the company MD Norman Tenray.Working at OBAS I manage all aspects of design throughout the company and also to many external sources generated by the MD. I also provide support to the company website including all web and print promotions. In-house design also plays a big part of my work at OBAS from the companies branding, corporate identity, product catalogue, promotions etc.
