Involved in all phases of architecture for new buildings, from schematic design to construction. My position included contract administration, and USGBC LEED Sustainable policies implementation for various higher education projects across New York City and New York State. My portfolio ranges from small renovations to new campus buildings for SUNY, CUNY, and other state college systems. The size of projects ranged from 10,000 to 180,000 square feet, with emphasis on core & shell design and engineering coordination. Notable Projects:James Center H-Quad, Collaboration Lounge & Office Renovations: Stony Brook University, NY: Architectural Designer for the design of a collaboration lounge and student learning center at the cellar level of the James Center Quad Building. Scope included interior gut renovation and build-out from schematic design to closeout.Chemistry Building Renovation & Deep Energy Retrofit: Stony Brook University, NY: Architectural Designer for the renovation of the Chemistry Building. Scope includes full building surveys, preliminary and design development drawings and alternate schemes for approval by the State University Construction Fund.SUNY Stony Brook University West Apartments, Building J, and Building K: Stony Brook University, NY: Architectural Designer and LEED AP for the design and construction (including Construction Administration) for both Buildings J and K, two new 248-bed apartment-style student residence and commons in the West Apartments development at Stony Brook University.
