    Brian worked in Lacrosse Unlimited's fabled "dye room"​ where he was an integral member of the growing dye room team within the corporate "warehouse"​ office. When Brian first joined Lacrosse Unlimited, he was responsible for string and completion of customer lacrosse sticks for the 22 brick and mortar stores nationwide. Brian was promoted from stick stringing to learning the complex nature for the dye process. After learning the ropes from lacrosse's dye guru, Rob Rimmer, Brian slowly took over the role as Rob had moved to another position in the company. Brian was now responsible for the creation of custom dyes, for the now 45 strong brick and mortar stores, for the global web store and team sales. On top of that, Brian was tasked with the work of providing bespoke pieces for celebrities, lacrosse all-stars, for Inside Lacrosse's highly anticipated Recruiting issue and creating temples for the yearly company catalog. Brian also provided much input within the innovation and development team to help increase brand recognition and awareness through social media venues, especially before the release of "LU Gold Wax Mesh."​ This was a new product coming out of the dye room that was to compete with other recognised​ wax mesh competitors. During that campaign, Brian wrote copy for Lacrosse Unlimited's press release in Inside Lacrosse. During his time at LU, Brian mentored and trained 6 new employees teaching them the ins and outs of the inner workings of the dye room.
