Responsible for several mechanical startup’s including a 240 Megawatt Combined Cycle Cogeneration Plant for Saranac Energy Company, Inc. Start-up activities included two GE Frame 7 EA, Dry-Low Nox Gas Turbines with Deltak HRSGs; an 84 MW GE Steam Turbine; a 25-cell Air Cooled Condenser; Glegg Water Treatment System and total black plant start-up capability. Assisted in the supervision of air blows and training of plant personnel. Also responsible for the development of the Turnover Packages to be sent out to the field. This entailed reviewing and scoping all P&Ids, assigning all instrumentation and equipment to its respective system. This was a highly intensive period interacting with all disciplines to ensure the congruity from design to start-up in the aspect of documentation. Developed to Preventative Maintenance Program to be implemented by OEC field personnel for the Dade and Umatilla, Florida projects. Assisted in the development of the Commissioning Procedure format. Responsible for composing the Commissioning procedures for those contracts requiring them. Created the Operational Test Procedure Manual (OPTM). Responsible for formatting the Start-up Logic and Turnover Schedule.
