I practice primarily in the area of Debtor and Creditor rights, representing both in the bankruptcy court for the Eastern District of Michigan in all aspects of bankruptcy law. I have represented clients in consumer and business bankruptcy cases, representing them in Chapters 7, 11, and 13. I have litigated adversary proceedings including fraud and nondischargeability cases, fraudulent transfers and preferences, etc. I have handled appeals, including briefing and oral argument in front of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. I have articles published by the American Bankruptcy Institute. I have also been a presenter at several conferences. In addition to bankruptcy, I have experience in real estate litigation, including quiet title actions and other litigation.
