Brian Reardon is the Principal at Reardon Consulting, LLC, the President of the S Corporation Association, a consultant for the Private Investor Coalition, and an Adjunct Professor at Hillsdale College. He has over thirty years of experience working at the highest levels of public policy within Congress, the Executive Branch, and the private sector. His advocacy work centers on tax and other economic policies and he is a trusted authority and respected advocate for S corporations and large family businesses. Through the S Corporation Association and the Private Investor Coalition, Brian provides America’s family businesses with a unique and effective voice in Washington and serves as both a thought leader and a trusted resource. As an experienced advocate with deep contacts on Capitol Hill, Treasury and downtown, Brian provides private companies with personalized service focused on moving the dial on public policy. Past successes include enacting pass-through SALT Parity bills in 36 states, winning significant changes to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, including expanding the 199A deduction – both the size and who qualifies for it -- and preserving the IC-DISC benefit for America’s exporters. Reardon comes to the S-Corp Association from the White House and Capitol Hill. He previously served as a Special Assistant to the President of the United States from 2003 to 2005, working at the President’s National Economic Council. Prior to that, he was Staff Director and Chief Economist of the Senate Republican Policy Committee. Brian has also worked for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and Senator Spencer Abraham (R-MI). He began working in Washington for his home-state Senator, Bill Armstrong (R-CO).Brian lives in Northern Virginia. He is the host of the podcast ‘Talking Taxes in a Truck’ and when he’s not working you’re likely to find him hanging out with his family, walking his dogs or playing basketball.
