Brian is a Partner in KPMG's Audit practice, servicing clients throughout the Southeast. Brian also completed a rotation in KPMG’s National Office (Department of Professional Practice) in New York City. His extensive experience includes SEC filings, financial statement audits and audits of internal controls over financial reporting for both public and non-public clients in the Technology and Retail industries. His experience includes leading the planning, organization and execution of assurance services related to the accounting and recording of revenue transactions, business combinations, tax, treasury, shared-service centers and other back-office functions to large, multinational corporations. He has extensive experience reviewing technical accounting memos related to significant accounting issues and other complex transactions. Brian has a proven record of leading cross-departmental projects and the leadership abilities to manage large teams in fast-paced environments. Brian is proficient in both U.S. GAAP and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, which includes audits of Internal Control and SEC filings. Although his focus has been primarily in the Technology and Retail industries, his experience includes the execution of audits for several Fortune 500 companies and other complex global audits for clients in a variety of sectors. This experience included the coordination of work across multiple sites in the North America, Europe and the AsiaPac regions.
