I coordinate and review various firm engagements including audits and financial statements, corporate and personal tax preparation, and consulting services. My clients are concentrated in the distribution, manufacturing, construction and real estate industries. I possess an expertise in cost segregation consulting and in the auditing of retirement plans.Here at Davie Kaplan, I also serve on the the firms Quality Control and Training Committees. The quality control function ensures our work product is of supreme quality and in accordance with all applicable sets of standards and regulations. The goal of our training committee is to provide our staff with all the knowledge they need to provide the best service to our clients. Trainings utilize both internal and external resources and are provided to our staff as well as some sessions to clients, prospects and referral sources. Tax planning with a goal of minimizing taxes seems to be highly valued by our clients. Myself and our team at Davie Kaplan can provide advice to best mitigate taxes. This may be accomplished through various vehicles such as cost segregation study, entity selection, captive insurance, Section 79 plan, IC-DISC's, research and development study, etc. I enjoy working with clients to achieve the best tax results for them.
