Senior Technical WriterResponsibilities: Past performance writer in the Proposal Operations Center. My customers were internal, from the other business divisions who came to us for assistance responding to requests for proposals (RFPs). I performed research on which contracts past performance to use for each proposal. Each past performance was then written in terms of the scope of work for the proposal we were responding to. I interviewed Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to obtain accurate proposal content. I could work on up to six projects simultaneously, meeting all deadlines. We held daily status meetings during the final 30 days of each proposal deadline. This period involved multiple reviews and revisions, incorporating suggestions from SMEs and proposal managers to create concise and compelling proposals. In addition to the past performance writing, I was also tasked with editing and revising the executive summaries and technical volumes of selected projects. Each project had a SharePoint site that I was responsible for maintaining. I was tasked to create, configure permissions and manage SharePoint sites. I followed the proposal process from pre-RFP preparation, through to submission and questionnaire tracking. I was also responsible for researching corporate assets (SharePoint archives) to compile data calls for future RFP responses. Accomplishments: I assisted the Knowledge Management Manager to gather corporate assets, like awards, kudos, winning proposals and proposal sections into a SharePoint Portal that was accessible to the rest of the corporation. This made future reports, RFPs, Requests for Information (RFIs) easier to respond to, since everyone had access to these templates and reuse material.

Technical Writer/IllustratorResponsibilities: I organized proposal efforts, coordinated submissions from SMEs, overseeing the proposal process from initial solicitation to final submission. I was responsible for pre-press proofreading of most reports and proposals. I assisted CEO to developed corporate “Statement of Capabilities” package to send to clients, detailing our company’s skills and past performance. This package included very detailed descriptions and drawings of security systems and technologies used to create state of the art integrated security systems for airports, train stations and seaports.Accomplishments: • Prepared design documentation for security enhancements at Richmond International Airport needed to accommodate Airport facility expansions and modernize security system elements. • Created corporate capabilities website and corporate marketing literature.• Assisted SMEs with the creation of PowerPoint Training modules for training aviation industry personnel, government officials and airport stakeholders.• Prepared designs and documents during the development of initial security planning, and development of security system plans, technical requirements, features and procedures documentation at the New Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia.
