As the head of department at a large state secondary with responsibilities for co-ordinating the delivery of both ICT and Computing curricula to a wide range of pupils I provide training on the use of ICT in class to fellow staff as well as advice on the use of ICT to parents.I lead on the school Learning Platform usage and promote new software and hardware in the school. I provide advice on strategic use of ICT to support learning to fellow Heads of Department and the Senior Leadership Team. I have recently worked on the school website redevelopment team where I assisted in evaluating bids and providing expertise on evaluating the designs of the website. I have also implemented online learning systems such as Cisco Networking Academy to supplement the standard curricula which pupils undertake.
