Red Dot designs and builds mobile HVAC systems and components for a wide range of heavy-duty commercial and military vehicles. Their custom OE and aftermarket products are found in construction, agriculture, tactical, commercial freight, and other demanding on- and off-highway environments all over the world. In September 2011, Red Dot Corporation purchased JBAR A/C and later renamed the division to Red Dot Ohio.Key Responsibilities/Accomplishments:• Project duties include: concepts, btu/sizing calculations, cost estimating, sheet metal & plastic  3D models, prototypes, part/assembly drawings, bills of material, work instructions, installation   instructions, electrical schematics, wire harnesses, FMEAs.• Collaborate with customers and peers to establish desired product function and performance• Perform analysis/calculations to determine cab BTU requirements for established  environmental conditions• Perform calculations to properly size hvac components that provide airflow and heat  transfer required to properly heat and cool the cab. Performance to meet SAE J1503   specifications. • Manage and design multiple simultaneous projects to meet or exceed customer   expectations• Reduced cost of heat unit by 36% while improving product function and performance • Reduced refrigerant hose development time by 50% using Pro/Engineer (Creo) "automation"   techniques• Contributed to development of ISO 9001 program at Ohio Division

JBAR A/C designed and manufactured hvac systems for heavy duty off-highway vehicles. JBAR systems can be found on construction, mining, agricultural and military vehicles. I joined the JBAR family in September of 2001 when it was founded by Mike Pease. Mike and his team grew the business 400% before selling it to Red Dot Corporation in September 2011.
