As a teaching staff within NUS, my responsibilities included and were not limited to, Project management, Student mentorship, Flight Safety, Flight operations, Machinery operations, Overseas operations planning and execution, Fire safety at both warden and coordinator levels. Further, I carried out research in areas of aircraft design and development in parallel with the Students work developing new means of rapid prototyping and manufacturing for the department.Over the years, I developed a system to teach the students the basics of flying from both a design engineer point of view as well as the pilot, maintenance point of view. This included Simulator training, day to day aircraft flight planning and operations, aircraft repairs and checks prior deployment. Further, now I am also developing educational kits for students to better understand their work through practice rather than theory.
