Division Head for the Material Management Policy and Program Oversight Branch. Responsible for the management and financial reporting of the enterprise's inventory of repair parts and tooling spread across the country consisting of four major warehousing operations and web-based customer support. Provided support to a customer base of 42 program offices comprising nine different funding streams with a division consisting of 53 personnel. Administered program office budgetary requirements and submitted annual data calls through the Department of Defense’s Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process for four different Congressional Appropriations. Defended and sustained a multimillion dollar budget despite pervasive annual system cuts. Served on a year-long black-belt project to lean operations and recoup operating dollars through the insertion of SAP’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data management system for improved material and financial management throughout naval aviation. Deployed for nine months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a Forward Operating Base Support Operations Officer. Personally negotiated construction and service contracts resulting in a 60% increase in permanent facilities including new buildings, utilities and communication equipment as well as providing for day-to-day personnel management and logistic operations. Awarded: Two Meritorious Service Medals.
