Division Administrator responsibilities included management of the $16M departmental budget, internal controls, and the traditional business office and information technology support functions. Deputy duties extend executive level oversight across the department’s ten programs and two attached agencies with their associated Boards. Regular reporting out responsibilities included monthly to the Board of Livestock, through three Legislative sessions and numerous other governmental agencies. A principal team-lead in successfully developing and funding both a multi-year $2.3M department-wide comprehensive IT systems modernization and a $53M new State Laboratory construction project.

Principally responsible for the leadership, vision and direction of the campus administrative functions ensuring the institution protects and cultivates its human, financial and physical resources. As CFO, accountable for overseeing the financial health of the organization and clearly communicating that position to executive leadership and campus stakeholders including the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education and Board of Regents. Despite stagnant enrollments across the region and diminishing State funding our teams had creatively driven innovation and improvements to fuel growth and support long term viability. We modernized most management aspects of personnel and technology within our span of control. In auxiliaries, we doubled our profitability while making significant strides in upgrading equipment, security, and program offerings. In 2017, we successfully navigated the University’s 7-year accreditation review that involved both a comprehensive program prioritization and new continuous improvement/assessment initiatives.

Responsible for the financial management, patient administration and marketing efforts of the clinic's $2.3M annual budget and 3,400 patients. Services included outpatient medical, comprehensive dental, and several counseling based programs. Accountable for a dozen different funding sources including federal, state and private grants and contracts. Directly reported monthly to a Board of Directors and Federal Program Officers on the financial health of the Center. Lastly, a foundational member in applying, securing and designing the beautiful new community health center in town.

Division Head for the Material Management Policy and Program Oversight Branch. Responsible for the management and financial reporting of the enterprise's inventory of repair parts and tooling spread across the country consisting of four major warehousing operations and web-based customer support. Provided support to a customer base of 42 program offices comprising nine different funding streams with a division consisting of 53 personnel. Administered program office budgetary requirements and submitted annual data calls through the Department of Defense’s Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process for four different Congressional Appropriations. Defended and sustained a multimillion dollar budget despite pervasive annual system cuts. Served on a year-long black-belt project to lean operations and recoup operating dollars through the insertion of SAP’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data management system for improved material and financial management throughout naval aviation. Deployed for nine months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a Forward Operating Base Support Operations Officer. Personally negotiated construction and service contracts resulting in a 60% increase in permanent facilities including new buildings, utilities and communication equipment as well as providing for day-to-day personnel management and logistic operations. Awarded: Two Meritorious Service Medals.

Managed five Divisions with 35 personnel handling all the ship's repair support requirements, financials, service contracts and port visit negotiations. Submitted, executed, and reported a $17M annual operating budget that replenished a $26M supply inventory and funded 31 service contracts that sustained a broad range of support. New initiatives included implementation of new web-based supply systems and several commercial vendor agreements and inventory management improvements that netted a 24% increase in operational effectiveness. Received the Supply Excellence Award both years onboard for superb operations and personnel management. Awarded: Navy Commendation Medal.
