During my Internship, I worked closely with full-time engineers on a variety of projects, including, developing sheet metal models and production drawings, writing technical design reports, and maintaining vehicle fault trees to facilitate the troubleshooting process. Additionally, I undertook a project for reverse engineering existing engine mounts which contained a critical design fault that could cause failure. My responsibilities included designing a solution that would correct that flaw and modifying the design to incorporate further changes to the system.

At Textron GSE I worked in the Aftermarket and Continuous improvement department, primarily focusing on receiving feedback from customers and technicians and translating that into improvements in the vehicle design or production process. In this role, I frequently worked with the manufacturing and sourcing departments to reduce costs by finding cheaper alternatives or streamlining the production process while maintaining the high standards of quality Textron holds.
