About Brian Loo
Producer and creative design management focus with over 12 years of experience driving on the importance of guest centric design and storytelling. My career background has been in the immersive themed entertainment and hospitality industry supporting theme parks, cruise ships and resort hotels. As a former Imagineer with the Walt Disney Company, I have been able to develop immersive storytelling worlds with both Disney IP, non-Disney IP, and original stories. In my last role with Disney, I was a Creative Producer for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge where I focused on the Millennium Falcon attraction, corporate alliances and partnerships, retail spaces, food and beverage, cast costuming, and the overall immersive land as the largest single site expansion for Disney Parks at 14 acres. In this role, I managed the creative team through the end to end process from creative development, deliverables, scheduling, contracts and negotiations with strategic partners and various lines of business to coordinating with numerous teams to make the dream a reality. With Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, I was the Vice President of Family Experience with a focus on developing the newly created Family Experience line of business strategic approach, process, brand promise, and unique intellectual property. In addition, we are designing new spaces and infusing the hotel and resort experience with one of kind storytelling from themed suites, play zones, to family programming.
