► I am a current graduate student at SCI-Arc, in the 3-year Masters in Architecture program. My highest aspiration in becoming an architect is to create works which are visually fresh, climate conscious, and developed with leading-edge technology. Major breakthroughs in architectural form have coincided with advances in technology, such as Frank Lloyd Wright with reinforced concrete and steel and Frank Gehry with the CATIA software. I hope to identify and contribute to a new generation’s invention and progress. However, the next generation of architects does not have the luxury of ignoring the ethics behind building structures; it is essential that we consider if the structure is environmentally and socially responsible. I aspire for my work in the field will be centered on this principle, while at the same time pursuing the next breakthrough in form, aided by new technology.
