As a Systems Engineer Mr. Snell’s main duties were to support any Midrange opportunities including SUN Microsystems, IBM RS/6000 and Linux. He was also furthering his skills in security and storage area networking and clustering technologies.EDS Innovations Inc. – Associate Systems Engineer (August 1999 to December 1999) Mr. Snell’s main duties were to project manage the delivery of technical services to EDS’s customers. He also provides customers with up to date status reports as well as meeting with the customers to discuss their service delivery requirements. Mr. Snell has been provided technical documents for outlining procedures and guidelines and improved the overall effectiveness of IT support for several key customer accounts.Mr. Snell has also completed the Y2K migration for the Ottawa, Kingston and Atlantic Regions of EDS Innovations Inc. and done so in less than 2 of the 6 months allocated for its completion. Supported onsite operations for Newbridge Networks Corporation’s Swansee manufacturing operations facility located in Kanata.Through proactive initiatives all outages were prevented averting a cost of downtime rated at $160,000/min for the manufacturing facility.

Working with design engineers to determine component requirements and recomending off the shelf or working with manufacturer to develop custom silicon designs to fit customer needs.Mr. Snell’s main duty as a Field Applications Engineer was to provide engineers with design solutions using a wide range of semiconductor devices. He provided training in conjunction with Sales Managers to the Sales channels. Mr. Snell worked closely with Sales and conducted in-house technical seminars and meeting with strategic and preferred customers. He also worked closely with the factory applications group to resolve customer’s technical issues. In his last six months Mr. Snell achieved an unprecedented 98% closure rate on all of his design opportunities that yielded $18.2 million in new sales for the following 24 months. He also performed the task of Product Manager for the company’s 18 product lines doing vendor management, communicating the customer’s requirements, design wins and forecasts. Mr. Snell was also responsible for his ongoing personal development and product specialization to stay at the leading technical edge of products and applications. As a Technical Sales Consultant Mr. Snell was responsible for following up on vendor leads, he contacted new potential customers and assessed their particular needs and turning them into new business opportunities for all the sales regions.

Heat Recovery design and implementation, HVAC re-design, and pollution control, electrical co-generation system design and implementation.Mr. Snell’s main duties included Project Manager for the design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of the heat recovery and pollution control systems. He worked on the design and installation for the system at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital. He also designed TEI’s first electrical cogeneration facility and HVAC retrofit for Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Ottawa, which was built and commissioned in the fall of 1994.Mr. Snell had also developed a software package to aid in the design of HVAC and heat recovery and pollution control systems in TML Pascal. He also managed the network and system administration and was responsible for specifying and purchasing new computer hardware and software.Thermal Energy Systems Ltd. - Project Engineer (May 1991 to August 1991)Mr. Snell’s main duties included developing software to determine the maximum and continuous head for piping. He performed mathematical modeling of flue gases and developed those results into a program to determine boiler efficiencies.Mr. Snell was also assigned the task Project Engineer and worked on heat calculations for various feasibility studies of industrial heating systems.
