Brian is a native of County Limerick, Ireland, his first introduction to Aviation started with the Shannon Aerospace Greenfield MRO project (a JV company of Guinness Peat Aviation, Lufthansa & Swissair), in 1990. He has also worked in senior executive roles for Air New Zealand, Ansett Australia, Regional Express Airlines, Periploi Aviation and now at Formidion Aviation. Formidion Aviation is based in Dublin and was established in July 2019 jointly by Brian Rooney and Brian Stapleton. Providing aircraft leasing; aircraft trading and advisory services to airlines and asset owners with a focus on the mid life aircraft from 70 to 140 seat turboprop & jet aircraft.
