Scope of Duties: Oversee transportation analysis and planning to coordinate the on-time distribution of an average of 200 daily truckloads with 9 million pounds of freight out of Southern California manufacturing facility across the entire Western Region. Coordinate with key stakeholders and internal business partners to source cost-effective, timely and efficient transportation methods including third party logistics (3PL) providers and Coca-Cola’s private fleet.* Plan and evaluate delivery routes and calculate delivery time using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) to develop cost-effective routes and assign loads. Conduct analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as level loading and utilization rates to identify cost saving opportunities.* Evaluate delivery schedule in order to proactively plan transportation methods and avoid expedited shipping rates.
