Vice President, Data Strategy And Governance
Current• Manage cross-enterprise engagement, including representation of Asset Management (AM) on Enterprise data forums including the Enterprise Data Management Council, Enterprise Legal, Risk and Compliance Data Advisory Group, Complex Securities Committee, Large Language Model (LLM) Review Board and related Steering Committees• Champion the development and implementation of new data/governance capabilities to support a global investment organization including Data Catalog, Advanced Data Quality Oversight, Data Shares, Data Access, Data Privacy and Data Initiative Prioritization with an intensive focus on securing a data first culture through a robust Data Fluency program• Lead cross functional data initiatives intended to support new investment product capabilities including but not limited to: FX OMS Modernization, Alternative Data, Alternative Investment Product development, Form PF (Large Hedge Fund) Regulatory Reporting and an initiative focused on horizontal alignment of business services to support new investment opportunities• Established the first Asset Management (AM) Data Office, responsible for driving AM Data Governance and Strategy, business enablement, improving organizational data competency, and advancing AM’s strategic objectives and data priorities; supporting cross-advisor/cross-functional programs and partnering with global business and technology teams to deliver value to all front and back-office functions in Asset Management• Development of the first AM Alternative Data Policy with accompanying training, providing guidance on the acquisition of new alternative data sets with emphasis on Web scraping. Ongoing responsibility for review and approval of new data acquisition use cases. In this capacity I am also responsible for providing guidance on data security classifications and policy to protect the firm and shareholders
