About Brian Thorne
After doing a bit of everything throughout my 15 years as a professional seller, I went back to school to pursue an MBA in Sales Management and Business Development. Building on an array of sales roles, multiple different industries, and a number of different leaders in the workplace, it was this experience in formal education that brought together the final pieces of my foundation as a salesperson.I wasn’t always in sales, but I’ve always believed in the power of helping other people solve their problems. My first career was in veterinary medicine. The work was great, and of course I loved playing with puppies and kitties, but the industry wasn't for me. My time in medicine taught me empathy. Today my ability to connect with others is a strength that many salespeople don't have. I wouldn't have that gift without veterinary medicine.In my youth I grew up in team sports, so that's a big part of how I see the world. From an early age I learned that a victory for one person on the team was a victory for every person on the team. You don't have to be the superstar to be a winner. In sales, the superstar of my team is the client. My role is to support the client and make sure we win as a team.Outside of work I'm a dad, a husband, and a fantasy football player. Being a dad lets me practice patience. Being a husband helps me be a better communicator. Being a fantasy football player... is just fun. Plus it's something I get to do with my brother and that's the best part.
