I’m a career CEO and serial entrepreneur working at the intersection of sustainable development, conservation and tourism. Leading initiatives and delivering innovative solutions within governments, multinationals, communities and for MSMEs in 80+ countries has given me a unique ability to foster multi-stakeholder collaboration, bridge communication divides, and generate tangible results at scale. This stems from more than 25 years of experience in leadership positions in the private, public and civil sectors, resulting in a sustained track record of co-creating positive socio-economic and conservation outcomes.I am committed to fostering a more responsible and regenerative travel and tourism sector – one that protects the environmental and socio-cultural fabric of host communities while maximizing local economic benefits. I am currently an executive advisor for Government Ministries. Prior to this, I led the Guyana Tourism Authority from 2018-2020 and am credited with helping Guyana become globally recognized as a leading sustainable destination. In 2002, I founded Sustainable Travel International, a leading nonprofit working to protect natural and cultural heritage in destinations and improve resident’s livelihoods. I began my career working in National Parks, and owned and operated an international adventure travel and ecotourism company for eight years.
