Brian currently serves as the President and CEO of The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation. Prior to this role, he served as Program Director - Community and Organizational Development and Evaluation at the Foundation. Before coming to the Foundation, he served as Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Residence Life at The University of Findlay, where he worked since 2001. Brian has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from UF. In 2010, he earned his doctorate in education, with a focus in organizational leadership, from Northcentral University. Although Brian researched humor as the topic of his dissertation, he is in no way claiming to be funny. He also has training in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and is a trained weather spotter through the National Weather Service.In the community, he’s been part of Hancock Leadership, Hancock Youth Leadership, the Center for Civic Engagement, Gliding Stars, Hancock Federal Credit Union, the Arts Partnership, Cancer Patient Services, the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and as a volunteer for a wide-variety of community events. He’s a six-time chair of the Findlay/Hancock County Halloween Parade.
