Leading a team of 20 engineers and technicians through technical execution of the Solar Cruiser hardware development efforts from Systems Requirements Review, PDR and to hardware prototyping and testing. Developing a 40m on a side solar sail system for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center to demonstrate a new propulsion system using the sun’s light energy. This mission requires composite based gossamer structures using thin film membranes and novel deployment system to meet the mission primary requirements. Overseeing or contributing to statement of work, vendor specification development, sub-contractor management, testing, scheduling, and risk management. Additionally, building internal best practices to advance project engineering and systems engineering at Redwire Longmont.

Orbital Micro Systems is a Weather Intelligence company providing critical data for the world's decision makers. Our first of it's kind Global Environmental Monitoring System (GEMS) fleet of micro satellites enables us to measure global 3 dimensional maps of temperature and humidity every 15 minutes. OMS has developed Weather Record, a proprietary on-orbit data analytics technology to provide instant alerts to customers on the observations they care about most. I oversee space research projects at CU-Boulder for the Colorado Space Grant Consortium. I direct satellite and other space related projects and technology. I lead interdisciplinary teams through the full design cycle from project definition to data analysis. I collaborate with faculty at CU to develop programs, interface with industry, and lead Space Grant Boulder lab operations.

As a member of the C&DH Systems Engineering group for ISS, I worked with NASA and the International Partners to help define computer hardware interfaces. While at JSC, I worked on the GN&C flight software group to implement software changes.

As an undergraduate in EE, I led an interdisciplinary team tasked with designing a satellite system between a consortium of 3 universities. As the End-to-End Data Systems lead I was responsible for the C&DH/FSW and Mission Operations planning for this small student built satellite.
