I learned a hard lesson at an early age. I was not going to be the right fielder for the Boston Red Sox. I know! Crushing. While I still play baseball, and even got to play at Fenway Park, I've focused my passion for being part of a team, competing and winning onto my business career.Instead of crashing into the short wall near the pole, now I go all out to grow businesses, improve processes, increase profitability and build amazing teams. I've done this everywhere I've been for over 20 years by focusing on what my customers want and collaborating across internal, and external, stakeholders to create strategies and operating plans which deliver results.Here are a few of the accomplishments I'm most proud of.- As Co-founder and COO, I started a VC Backed construction company with zero industry experience. I grew sales to over $10M/year in only 3 years and generated an NPS of 80 over thousands of projects.- As VP of Revenue Operations, I helped lead a SaaS payments business, Cayan, from $25-$300M in ARR and a $1.1B sale. I improved marketing and sales ROI by over 50% by developing award winning systems which could track all on and off-line leads and predict deal value for sales reps in real time.- At Amazon, I was promoted 4 times in 3 years. I developed strategies which helped to double the capacity of the delivery network and increased Amazon’s logistics partner CSAT from 62% to 86% by re-designing a matrixed customer success structure and launching a new team focused on vehicle up-time. I also saved over $4M/yr by reducing partner hiring gaps and increasing delivery reliability from 87% to 95% over thousands of partners.If you've read this far, congrats! They are patient and love the grind as much as the flash.7. They know the history of the game but are always looking to find new ways to win.8.
