Woger Trading is a international eCommerce company with 3 branches (2 Netherlands, 1 China), multiple holdings, brands and is one of the highest ranked companies in sales on eBay and Marktplaats within the Netherlands.The branch I was hired for, had a skeleton team with specialized people. And was compiled to build a new foundation for the company in form of Magento webshops.The end goal was 20 new multilingual websites within a period of 4 months, with each its own design and content. Where after a lot more interesting projects.We ended up burning a lot of midnight oil with the divisions of sales, marketing, content and design to reach the branch ambition of successfully launch this project with booming end results in a high traffic amount in views, leads and sales.

And we specialized in overhaul/upgrade projects. Which means we could offer a company a total conversion of their base applications to that of a modern setup and language.After the required business model is fully defined by the client.My responsibilities was to create and uphold an intranet that connects all the developers.And to further coordinate a team of developers with development assignments, code reviews, training and development.

A Dutch company with an custom build content management system per customer.Build with a EXED library and Zend Framework.I was hired to fill in for a developer that left the company and setup a project within this system.Expand, bugfix other projects and to further develop the EXED library.A interesting job that allowed me to see "first hand" what happens when you unleash a custom build library with Zend Framework on a team of developers.The "con" would be with no doubt the learning curve for new developers.The "pro" would be that the company can launch, sell or introduce newly developed features within this library to its customers. And that this library could potentially lead to a more efficient project delivery.

World Trade Center - Amsterdam

An international mobile content supplier, marketed through websites or TV commercials. Located in the World Trade Center of Amsterdam. With an impressive revenue in sales and a massive amount in returning customers *if they liked it or not.I was responsible for upholding and the development of websites that served mobile applications directly to your mobile phone. Which was done with an in house build portal for almost every mobile gateway around the world. With websites and 1000's of landing pages.That allowed the customer to use one call to action to finish payments (phone number).Because of the high traffic that the websites and TV commercials generated.And the constant changing laws and rules around mobile appliances (per country). Development on a content management system was constantly required. Which in turn allowed the content managers to update every aspect of every website, gateway or landing page.One thing that was amazing about this client, was the full control and responsibility they entrusted me over all the high traffic websites. And the experiments within the live environment to study the behavior of millions in visitors per day to improve sales. I observed huge changes with simple examples like the physical height of a button in correlation of the average eye height of a visitor or something as simple as a color change.
