After 15 years in public opinion research, I'm currently enjoying time off abroad, living in the UK and exploring Europe while writing blogs, playing with my dog, and supporting my fiancé as she pursues a PhD program.As a Senior Director at EMC Research, I've consulted clients and managed project teams for quantitative and qualitative public opinion research studies. At EMC, I've driven several aspects of business development and proposal writing, and oversaw all aspects of project design (including questionnaire, methodology, and sample design), data collection management, data analysis, reporting, and consulting for hundreds of projects and dozens of clients.My breadth of work has spanned numerous topic areas, including community priorities, customer satisfaction, public transit and transportation improvement, parks, recreation, and open space planning, ballot measures, brand perceptions, and more. I've designed and managed quantitative and qualitative studies using a breadth methodologies including online, phone and mail surveys, ongoing research panels, in-person intercepts, focus groups, and in-depth interviewing.Previously, I was a research interviewer and focus group recruiter at a full-service marketing research firm and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Washington University in Business Administration with majors in Marketing and Operations Management.
