- Provide in office/ remote guidance to teams in line with Counterpart’s policies and protocolsto Operations and Programs departments as needed. Includes travel security support.- Be on standby to deploy to assist Counterpart for safety or security emergencies as required.- As called upon, review and make recommendations to field office security plans; hold monthlysecurity check-ins with field offices.- Advise New Business Development department on technical and budget elements forproposals.- Maintain HQ traveler database and provide security briefings to CPI travelers in accordancewith CPI travel protocols.

-Developing and implementing the security strategy for Nuru International.-Supervise security program for HQ offices and country projects in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.

-Conduct security re-assessments of high-risk field offices.-Conduct crisis management team planning, training, and rehearsals. -Travel management support. Provide security briefings for all high-risk travel.-Develop protocol documents for focal areas such as cybersecurity and surveillance awareness.-Provide security planning input for new project development.

-Maintain all safety and security policies and procedures for the Niger project, and ensure they are communicated to all staff, visitors, and technical consultants.-Continually assess program activities, operational context, and their impact on staff safety and security.-Provide technical support and advise Security Focal Points and Chief of Party on exposure to risk, potential impact, and liability.

-Operations Officer for Special Operations Task Force-West from January to October 2014 coordinating SOF operations in western Afghanistan. Coordinated building partnered capacity of Afghan Special Operations Forces.-Coordinated 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion's regionalization to the Pacific Command theater of operations supporting Special Operations Command-Pacific.

-Led seven SOF teams, consisting of Marine Special Operations Teams, Special Forces Operational Detachment-Alphas, and SEAL platoons, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan.-Focused on Village Stability Operations in the Helmand River Valley and building partnered capacity in Afghan Special Operations Forces and Afghan Local Police.

Supervised special skills training for the Marine Expeditionary Unit Maritime Raid Forces to include: -Close quarters tactics -Dynamic breaching -Reconnaissance and surveillance -Advanced sniper marksmanship -Direction action raids -Visit, Board, Search. Seize (VBSS) against martime vessels and gas/oil platforms

Led 300-man element comprised of a Rifle Company, Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV) Platoon, and Tank Platoon aboard 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit West Pacific deployment.

Led 200-man Headquarters and Service Company in Habbaniyah during Operation Iraqi Freedom 8-6.

Led 25-man Reconnaissance platoon in Al-Anbar province in Operation Iraqi Freedom II and 11th MEU West Pacific deployment.

Led 30-man Rifle Platoon on an 11th MEU West Pacific deployment and during Operation Iraqi Freedom I.
