As of the 1st July 2016 I am pleased to say I will be returning to work in Kununoppin and Districts. Once again, and copying from my initial post in 2013, I can say that I am developing general medical services to the Wheatbelt, based at Kununoppin District Hospital and servicing the region to Beacon, Bencubbin, Mukinbudin. I might occasionally be working at Merredin Hospital. My work is based on the recognition that our community is rural and remote, the population is thinly spread out, and there is very little in the way of government support to provide equitable health services to our region. While I fundamentally believe that is primarily a geographical and logistical problem, I am keenly aware that government agencies are incapable of making coherent and co-ordinated inroads into the health inequality present in the Wheatbelt. I am therefore committed to providing such a service, a service which is professional, ethical and also commercially viable. I am blessed to be able to soon call on the services of other like-minded individuals to assist in this exciting endeavour. I can promise that you will find the work professionally more than satisfying, challenging and varied.

This is a newly developed comprehensive medical service in a beautiful part of Western Australia. We work in an integrated fashion using alternative approaches in conjunction with solid medical science to deal with chronic disease at the root cause: nutrition, exercise and mental health. The general practice caters for a wide range of acute and chronic disease for a population based in a rural/semi-rural area located close to Perth.Leaving in June 2016, this practice is a wonderful place to work, with beautiful people in a beautiful part of Western Australia.
