SightLife is brimming with some of the most knowledgeable and talented eye bank professionals in the world. In 2017, the organization was awarded the Association for Talent Development's Excellence in Practice award for ongoing performance management initiatives. My role was to develop a comprehensive learning strategy that could transform the deep technical knowledge of in-house staff into easily understood, digestible and engaging learning programs. Accomplishments included:* Led the complete overhaul and gamification of the organization's new employee orientation program, reducing the duration of the program by 33% while increasing the ability of new staff to identify how their role impacted other departments across the organization. * Reduced the amount of time subject matter experts spend developing and designing training workshops from an average of 40 hours to an average of 5 hours by incorporating performance support.* Developed a competency model and corresponding individual development plans in order to assess the learning needs and facilitate targeted educational sessions to improve the performance of eye bank managers in India, Nepal, Ethiopia and Paraguay. * Served as co-chair and lead curriculum organizer for the first Eye Banking Symposium in Saudi Arabia.* Developed an international fellowship program which resulted in the first domestically pre-cut corneal tissue on the Asian continent. * Leveraged technology (webinars, podcasts, online e-learning modules) to deliver continuous training and development opportunities to learners in various locations around the world.

National CASA is a national member association of 1000+ non-profit organizations. In this role, my goal was to leverage technology in order to meet the learning needs of 3,500 staff and 70,000 volunteers dispersed across the country. Some results from this work included:* Revising a 30-hour, core training curriculum that was attended by over 68,000 volunteers in a 3-year span and which 98% of customers described as useful in meeting their training needs.* Led $1.6 million pilot training project attended by 865 participants across the country over a 9-month period; average post-test scores rose 19% compared with pre-test scores.* Implemented a Learning Management System and a blended (combination of online and in-person) training curriculum in order to reduce in-person class-time and increase learner retention.* Designed scenario-based elearning program which 95% of participants reported as useful in improving their skill set and knowledge base in order to perform their job duties.
