• Developed tools and utilities to enhance and automate the desktop build and deployment process for firm standard images across the U.S.• Developed the ePC Migration Utility (EMU) and PwC Data Migration Utility (PDMU) for use in the U.S. firm during data migrations as part of a self service lease swap program for laptops and desktops.• Support of the firm's central software installation, update and reporting tool, Software Installer Pro (SIP). SIP is critical to the PwC firm's ability to quickly and effectively install and apply updates to standard software tools including antivirus, firewall, VPN, Windows XP and Internet Explorer.• Responsible for ensuring quality of scripts on multiple computer models and advanced troubleshooting with vendors.• Responsible for resolving complex problems relating to firm desktop images and software by applying significant independent judgment and research.• Responsible for collaboration with external vendors as necessary to ensure quick solutions were identified for problems.• Responsible for designing complex build scripts, installation procedures and other process improvements to accomplish the seamless integration between software release life cycle processes. These processes included configuration identification, change management, build and release management, version control and defect tracking.• Deep functional experience in application packaging products such as Windows Installer and WISE scripting tools.• Used scripting tools such as Wise Installation Manager and WinBatch for re-packaging vendor software to match PricewaterhouseCoopers standards in order to make them available for download to the firm’s desktop/laptop population.
