The City and County of Denver has been working since 2012 to develop, plan, and fund a robust Water Quality and Green Infrastructure program within the Office of Policy, Planning, & Sustainability. Calling on my nearly 20 years of integrating urban stormwater management in public spaces, my role as Green Infrastructure PM is to help develop policy, design standards, and pilot projects focused on the citywide implementation of site-scale Green Infrastructure. In addition, I also provide technical review and guidance on a wide variety of public and private stormwater management projects focused on improving water quality in the local creeks, streams, and rivers.

August 2013 - In addition to my ongoing rolls with both the Stormwater System Program and the Sustainable Stormwater Group, I have recently taken on the additional role of providing technical assistance for green roofs and ecoroofs for the Bureau of Environmental Services. There is already an incredibly talented group of people working on ecoroofs for BES, and I am lucky to be formally included as part of that team. I've had the pleasure of working directly with Tom Liptan for a few years, and I feel very fortunate to fill a small part of the role that he pioneered with BES over the last 25 years.November 2012 - After fifteen years of working in both the private and public sector implementing the City of Portland Stormwater Management Manual, I am now tasked with leading the revision of the 2014 SWMM. This major revision is being tied together with a new, comprehensive Citywide Stormwater System Plan for the entire City of Portland and are the major tasks for our new Stormwater System Program at BES.January 2011 - November 2012 | As part of the Sustainable Stormwater Group, my role as a project manager and designer allowed me to work on several teams providing innovative sustainable stormwater management services. Our group tested and implemented the most current and cutting edge approaches to managing stormwater in our urban environment.
