After graduating high school from the Cretin-Derham Hall in 1998, I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in Accounting eventually completing my graduate course work in Educational Leadership from St. Mary’s University. I worked for nearly five years at the CPA firm Baker, Tilly, Virchow, Krause LLP as an accountant working extensively with closely held corporations on a variety of accounting and tax issues. Naturally, after working in public accounting for five years - I played minor league baseball for three seasons with the Saint Paul Saints. For over five years I worked as a financial advisor before joining Hays Companies in 2016 as part of their benefits team specifically in the retirement plan department.
