My experience focuses on Financial Reporting, Project Management and Controllership, specifically within Construction, Mining, Manufacturing & Heavy Equipment fields. My management experiences include leadership of projects in excess of $500 million, and over 25 staff members of various professions. These leadership roles have allowed me to demonstrate my expertise in accounting systems efficiency improvement (ERP systems), project cost accounting, financial reporting, and activity based costing processes. I have been responsible for the development of operating budgets, rolling forecasts, business plans, and have worked closely within cross-functional teams conducting variance analysis. I have been responsible for corporate reporting activities as well as enforcement of operations expenditure accountability. These roles have also involved working closely with legal, purchasing, operations and tender management in reviewing contractual agreements, developing bid proposals and evaluating contract performance. Each of my roles involved successful negotiation with customers and contractors to achieve efficiencies in reporting, cost savings, while also improving inter- and extra-corporate relations.
