Who is a resource to help me, and who, in turn, will I need to train? My ability to contribute is based on my capacity to learn new hard skills, to really think about the best approach, best practice. Experience matters. Awareness matters. I can answer many of your "why's." My ability to adapt and learn are the reasons I want to work for an organization that starts with "who," because I can be that person can take your "why" and produce. But by focusing on the WHO and the WHY, we can more efficiently craft a plan to accomplish the WHAT. So let's reframe the question - Why is the objective important? How many initiatives fail because you started with the "what" and didn't have the right person, the "who" you need to accomplish the objective?We all have made mistakes and bad decisions. I don't regret them. I learn from them, and apply that experience in a thoughtful and forward-looking way. I believe in education - especially informal. I believe degrees and designations are important, but I also believe real-life, personal and professional experience provide more meaningful, memorable lessons.I believe in our community, our people and our children. I am excited to watch them grow, learn, explore, make mistakes, gain experience and learn from their mistakes, but put them in a position to make fewer mistakes or short-sighted decisions.\
