Richmont Holdings is a private equity firm with holdings in the Imaging, Manufacturing, Direct Sales and Consumer Products markets. While the firm focuses primarily on capital investment Richmont also manages daily operations for a number of its investment companies. As CIO, I was responsible for technology strategy and daily IT operations for all Richmont operating companies as well as supporting holding company M&A activity.

Department head of technology services for Nukote International, an international manufacturing and distribution company with offices in the US, UK, China, Canada and Mexico. Responsibilities included strategic business planning, budgeting and technical leadership. Directly responsible for management and supervision of the data center, network operations center, network infrastructure, telephony services and helpdesk functions.

Directed wireless network planning and deployment for Current Communications; a venture capital funded broadband over power line ISP and Smart Grid utility management company. Developed wireless transport methodologies to provide broadband Internet, telephony, and Smart Grid automation services to utility customers in a highly regulated environment. Developed business cases, performed competitive analysis and technical evaluations in support of product development activities. Designed regional and last mile transport networks, developed field training materials and approved engineering metrics for all wireless deployments

Founded, owned, and operated a regional ISP and IT services company in Central KY. Designed and implemented wireless network infrastructure to provide broadband internet to under-served rural communities throughout central KY. In addition to broadband internet services, Broadband for Everyone provided outsourced IT helpdesk, enterprise systems, and networking support to small and medium businesses in and around its service area.
