The Coordinator, Promotion Systems works closely with Category Manager Teams to enter promotional details into the Walgreens Ad Planning system from a PDF/Excel extract from IBM Demandtec system. I am responsible for ensuring both systems are in sync by communicating error, alerts or out of sync issues that occur in Ad Planning to the Merchant for resolution. I also have the ability to perform limited modifications in IBM DemandTec directly. In addition to the above, the Coordinator will also perform user acceptance testing of the DemandTec Deal and Promotions applications and their interface with existing Walgreens systems and processes. Using developed scripts, the individual will be responsible for executing scripts, identifying discrepancies in expected results and recording results for evaluation.Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)* Executes user test scripts and validates outcomes against expected results, records findings and reports same to the Merchant systems manager. * Executes consistent, accurate and timely promotional dual entry processes within our core business deadlines. * Creates, enters and updates promotions in Ad Planning to ensure they perform within specified time frames and align with current promotion requirements. Manages promotional verification with merchants through meetings, email and phone.* Maintains records of promotional activity and escalates or addresses out of sync errors between Ad Planning and IBM DemandTec to Merchant Manager.* Responds timely to merchant and team lead inquiries, and follows processes to complete communication loops with the Merchant team.* Becomes familiar quickly with new and existing systems and can navigate the systems and processes to trouble shoot promotional errors despite system limitations.* Collects/filters/analyzes information and efficiently to determine what is relevant and meaningful with regard to promotional offers

Solve our organizational information problems and requirements by analyzing requirements; designing computer programs; recommending system controls and protocols. Act as liason between Sales, Operations and Technical departments to produce a quality end product for client with minimal interaction between department personnel.
