Group FC providing executive support to CEO and CFO at leading laser diode technology company. During my time at the company it has grew from £0.8m to £9.1m turnover both organically and by the acquisition of a US laser company. Highlights included the US acquisition, the securing of blue-chip customers on both development and production contracts and research resulting in world leading laser performance. Role ranged from day to day financial control of the UK and US companies, support for operations, projects and sales, support of executive team and liaison with investor group and banks. Disposal of UK and US business operations and controlled shut down of corporate structure.

Interim corporate finance role ranging from gaining internal approval for refurbishments, hotel acquisitions and disposals, extensive financial modelling and assisting with a significant group re-bank.

FD of a biomedical start up business from day 1 with responsibility over finance, IT & HR plus liaison with investor group and bank. Tasks included business plans, fund raising, creation of strategy and policies, preparation of multiple parallel financial projections, recruitment of key operational team.
