- Creating the digital backbone for Roche/Genentech- Overall accountable for the successful IT deployment of the Analytics and Reporting in Genentech

- Implement strategic no-code/low-code AI platform Dataiku, empowering citizen data scientists and democratizing AI in Genentech, allowing cross-functional teams to make data-informed business decisions.

- In this job rotation, Brian joins Commercial Medical and Government Affairs (CMG) Finance to Develop vision/mission/objectives for the next generation of Finance Analytics.- Develop and maintains collaborative relationships with key partners across Roche global and Genentech to align and co-define the shared vision.- Articulate a strategic plan for how CMG Finance will utilize and influence our data systems & tools, and scaling a data driven culture from the ground up.

- Build trust with APAC stakeholders during transformation. Prioritize APAC ERP analytics projects. - Rebuilt APAC SAP BW team and service (1 manager 1 SA 3 BA 3 contractors 2 offshore, distributed in CN/MY/IN) for Malaysia SSC (Shared Service Center) to support company strategic geo-shift. - Participated in business strategy meetings as IT representative

- Partner with finance business stakeholders to address their ERP analytics needs- Promoted machine learning. Single point of contact of North America ERP Advanced Analytics, manage machine learning initiatives, proof-of-concept, and projects for ERP domain.- Managed NA SAP BW and offshore team on end-to-end solution delivery and daily operation

- Transition SAP BW service from Australia to China, build APAC BW team (2 FTE, 2 contractors, 1 offshore), 0 customer escalation in my term. - Partner with APAC business stakeholders to address ERP analytics needs- Responsible for global, regional and local BW projects in 13 APAC affiliates. Manage system maintenance and enhancement, operation, upgrade and audit.

- Enable China SAP BI delivery capability. - Pre-sales, end-to-end solution delivery, operation support- Train (10+) and Mentor junior team members.

- Analyzed and optimized mobile phone design and New Product Introduction processes - Supported executive to set up ODM business model, turned strategy into solutions- Managed 12 members in the Engineering process management team as section lead. - Implement SAP BW as engineering function lead (7th BW project in mainland China)
