Led/oversaw the Treasury department's cash, debt, investment, credit operations at the nation's largest public power utility. Coached and mentored a team of 4 treasury professionals reported directly to me. Developed and implemented credit policies and procedures to minimize on balance sheet exposures, and created alternative lease financing structures to increase lending capacity through third party banks. Oversaw the investments of externally managed Trusts, totaling about $2 billion, and ensured optimal asset allocations. Provided municipal bond deal support in potential refunding, issuance and credit facility renewal initiatives. Authored and presented Trustee items at the Board of Trustee meetings.

Managed an internal U.S Treasury, Agency and Municipal fixed income portfolio of $1 billion, analyzed various GO and Revenue backed muni credits (mainly personal income tax and utility project revenue backed issues) by conducting Ratio analysis, Official Statement analysis, Ratings Report reviews, etc.

Modeled different hedging strategies to determine the optimal reduction of portfolio VaR, and presented various options to the trading group.

Responsible for daily Profit & Loss (P&L) validation between traders' calculation and the risk reporting model across a $30 million natural gas portfolio.

Responsible for pricing of long-term structured and short-term flow power and natural gas deals in the Mid-Atlantic regions of the US.
